Our guides are guidance, not a guarantee

Every child is different. Our age guides, content scores, scary moments, pace ratings and discussion questions are there to help you decide, not to decide for you. Official classifications differ between countries and can change. Please use your own judgement about what suits your family, and check the official rating where you live.

Most of each guide is written by an AI model from the information described on how we rate. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and pace in particular is an estimate. If you spot a mistake, please tell us at hello@couchapproved.com.

Information from other sources

Title details, images and official ratings come from TMDB. Streaming availability comes from JustWatch, and plot summaries used for our guides may come from Wikipedia. We don’t control these sources, so availability, prices and details may be out of date. This site uses the TMDB API but isn’t endorsed or certified by TMDB. Links to other websites are for convenience: we’re not responsible for their content.

Lists you share

Anyone with a list’s link can view it. Don’t put personal information or anything offensive or unlawful in a list name. We may remove lists that break these terms, and we may limit how many lists can be created to prevent abuse.

Using the site fairly

Please don’t try to break, overload or scrape the site, or get around its limits. Our own text and design belong to us. Titles, images and other material from third parties belong to their owners.

Liability

We provide the site free of charge and “as is”, and we don’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can’t be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its guides.

Changes and governing law
